Refried Protein Beans

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of pinto/black/kidney beans
  • 3 tbsp plant based milk
  • 1 tbsp Mung Bean Protein Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • clove of minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

 

Instructions:

  1. Over medium heat mix Vegetable Oil, minced garlic cumin and chili powder in the pan and cook until it starts to smell delicious. 
  2. Add the beans to the pan and let it cook for a few minutes.
  3. In the meantime, dissolve the Mung Bean Protein Powder in the Plant-Based Milk.
  4. Add your protein mixture to your bean mix and cook on low heat until the mixture becomes chunky, creamy. 
  5. Enjoy.
